 申 1: 1 Mosef ti Ioktaxn-河東 ee 曠野(khorng'iar)、Sohud對面 ee Alaqpaf,就是 ti PalaanTohudLaqpafnHapsefliokTysat'hab ee 中間,對 Ysekliet-眾人 所講 ee 話,記 ti 下面 。
  1 These are the words Moses spoke to all Israel in the desert east of the Jordan
that is. in the Arabah opposite Suph, between Paran and Tophel, Laban, Hazeroth and Dizahab.
 申 1: 2 Tuy Holiet-山 經過Senie- ee kaux Katesw-Pani'af有 十一日 ee 路程。
  2 lt takes eleven days to go from Horeb to Kadesh Bamea by the Mount Seir road.)
 申 1: 3  脫出 Aikip第四十年 ee 十一月初一Mosef照主Iahohoaf 藉著(ciartioh)boeq 命令(bexngleng) Ysekliet- ee lorng ka yn 講。
  3 in the fortieth year, on the first day of the eleventh month, Moses proclaimed to the Israelites all that the LORD had commanded him concerning them.
 申 1: 4 Hit'伊 已經 打贏(phah'viaa) hit'ee 居住(khiaxkhie) ti Hisidpurn ee Amoli-Sehoong kab 居住 ti YteklaaiAsuthaliok ee Pasafn- Gok
  4 This was after he had defeated Sihon king of the Amorites, who reigned in Heshbon, and at Edrei had defeated Og king of Bashan, who reigned in Ashtaroth.
 申 1: 5 Mosef ti Ioktaxn-河東 ee Mo'ab-地 開始 談(taam) 律法, 講:
  5 East of the Jordan in the territory ofMoab, Moses began to expound this law, saying:  
 申 1: 6 "上帝 ti Holiet-山 教示(karsi) 講: ' ti cit'ee 山 頂 住(toax) ee 日子 有夠額(u-kaogiah) laq;
  6 The LORD our God said to us at Horeb, "You have stayed long enough at this mountain.
 申 1: 7 "'tioh 起行(khykviaa) kaux Amoli- ee 山地 kab 靠近 cit'ee 山地 ee 各所在(tag'sofzai),就是Alaqpaf、山地、高原、南方,沿海 一帶,Kalaam- ee 地,kabLixpaluxn- koq kaux Peklah-河。
  7 Break camp and advance into the hill country of the Amorites; go to all the neighboring peoples in the Arabah, in the mountains, in the western foothills, in the Negev and along the coast, to the land of the Canaanites and to Lebanon, as far as the great river, the Euphrates.

 申 1: 8 "'Tvaf Goar cit'ee 地 排列 ti ee 面前; 恁 tioh 入去 得著 cit'ee 地,就是主 Iahohoaf 向 恁 ee 列祖 ApeklaqharnYsadGvafkog立誓(libsex)boeq 賞賜(sviwsux) yn kab yn ee 後裔(hoxex)做業 ee '
  8 See, I have given you this land. Go in and take possession of the land that the LORD swore he would give to your fathers to Abraham, Isaac and Jacob ─ and to their descendants after them."

 申 1: 9 "Hit'時,我 對 恁 講: '管理 恁 ee 重任,我 家己 一個 是 擔當
  9 At that time I said to you, "You are too heavy a burden for me to carry alone.
 申 1: 10 "'上帝 ho 恁 加添(kethvy)zoexzoe。 看+aq !  恁 今仔日 親像 天頂 ee hiahniq'zoe
  10 "The LORD your God has increased your numbers so that today you are as many as the stars in the sky.
 申 1: 11 "'(goan)Iahohoaf,恁 列祖 ee 上帝,ho 恁 比 現今 加添 千倍,也 照 Y 所應允(erng'urn) ee 話,賜福 ho 恁。
  11 May the LORD, the God of your fathers, increase you a thousand times and bless you as he has promised!
 申 1: 12 "' ee 重擔, kab 管理 恁 ee 重任,以及 恁 ee 冤家,我 家己 一個 nar 擔當-oexkhie leq﹖
  12 But how can I bear your problems and your burdens and your disputes all by myself?
 申 1: 13 "' tioh 各支派 揀出(kefngzhud) 有智慧、有見識、有名望 ee 人,由 我 來 設立 yn 做 恁 ee 首領。'
  13 Choose some wise, understanding and respected men from each of your tribes, and I will set them over you."
 申 1: 14 "恁 回答我 講:  '照 你 所講+ee 來 行 就 好。'
  14 You answered me, "What you propose to do is good."
 申 1: 15 "我 就 將 恁 各支派 ee 首領,就是 有智慧、有名望+ee,照 恁 ee 支派,設立 yn 做 首領; ciah'ee 就是 teq 管理 恁 ee 千夫長、百夫長、五十夫長、十夫長。
  15 So I took the leading men of your tribes, wise and respected men, and appointed them to have authority over you ─ as commanders of thousands, of hundreds, of fifties and of tens and as tribal officials.
 申 1: 16 "當時(tngsii),我 命令 恁 ee 審判官 講: 'ti ee 兄弟中 審判,或是 人 kab yn-中間 ee 出外人 有 相告(svakox) lorng tioh 按照 公道 來 判斷  (phvoartoaxn) 
  16 And I charged your judges at that time: Hear the disputes between your brothers and judge fairly, whether the case is between brother Israelites or between one of them and an alien. "Do not show partiality in judging; hear both small and great alike.
 申 1: 17 "'審判 ee 時陣,mxthafng 看 人 ee 外貌(goaxmau); 聽訟(thviasiong) mxthafng 分貴賤mxthafng 看 人 著驚(tioqkviaf)因為 審判 是 屬 ti 上帝+ee。 Na 有 難斷 ee 案件,thafng kaux我-ciaf,我 就 來 判斷。'
  17 Do not be afraid of any man, for judgment belongs to God. Bring me any case too hard for you, and I will hear it.
 申 1: 18 "Hit'時,我 將 恁 所 tioh ee lorng 命令恁 laq
  18 And at that time I told you everything you were to do.

  申 1: 19 "咱 照著帝 所命令+ee, tuy Holiet-山 起行,經過 恁 所看 見 hit'ee 大 koq 可驚(thangkviaf) ee 曠野,往 Amoli-ee 山地 去,kaux Katesw-Pani'af
  19 Then, as the LORD our God commanded us, we set out from Horeb and went toward the hill country of the Amorites through all that vast and dreadful desert that you have seen, and so we reached Kadesh Bamea.
 申 1: 20 "我 對 恁 講: '恁 已經 kaux 上帝 所 boeq 賞賜 ho ee Amoli- ee 山地。
  20 Then I said to you, "You have reached the hill country of the Amorites, which the LORD our God is giving us.
 申 1: 21 "'+aq ! 上帝 已經 將 hit'ee 地 排列 ti ee 面前,你 tioh Y 對 你 所講+ee,上+來 得著 hit'ee 地 做業 mxthafng mxthafng lurn'
  21 'See, the LORD your God has given you the land. Go up and take possession of it as the LORD, the God of your fathers, told you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged."
 申 1: 22 "Hit'時 恁 lorng 就近 我 來 講:' tioh 先 派遣(phaekhiern) 人 去為 阮 窺探(kuithaxm) hit'ee tngflaai 回報 阮 zay tof'一條 路, 就 oe kaux tof'一座城 。'
  22 Then all of you came to me and said, "Let us send men ahead to spy out the land for us and bring back a report about the route we are to take and the towns we will come to."
 申 1: 23 "Cit'ee 話,我 聽+來 感覺 很好(cviahor),就 tuy 恁 中間 選出 十二個 人, 每支派 一個。
  23 The idea seemed good to me; so I selected twelve of you, one man from each tribe.
 申 1: 24 "Zu afnnyyn 就 起身 上(cviu) 山地 去, kaux Ysidkog ee 山谷,窺探 hit'ee 地。
  24 They left and went up into the hill country, and came to the Valley of Eshcol and explored it.
 申 1: 25 "Yn +theh hit'所在 ee 果子, 落來 kaux -ciaf,回報 講: '上帝 所 賞賜 ho+ee 是 好 ee 土地。 '
  25 Taking with them some of the fruit of the land. they broueht it down to us and reported, It is a good land that the LORD our God is giving us."  
                             --------- 段 落 ----------- (Rebellion Against the LORD)
 申 1: 26 "恁 卻 m-肯(kherng)上+去,竟然 違背了 上帝 ee 命令。
  26 But you were unwilling to go up; you rebelled against the command of the LORD your God.
 申 1: 27 "Koq ti 帳棚(tviuopvii)內 s怨 講 ' 因為 上帝 怨恨 咱,所以 將 咱 tuy Aikip-zhoa+出來boeq ka 咱 交 ti Amoli- ee 手中來 勦滅(zaubiet)
  27 You grumbled in your tents and said, "The LORD hates us: so he brought us out of Egypt to deliver us into the hands of the Amorites to destroy us.
 申 1: 28 "' boeq 上去 tofui leq? 咱 ee 兄弟 ho 咱 失志, 講 hit'ee ee 百姓 比 咱 khaq- khaq-lox,城 闊大(khoahtoa) koq 堅固,高-gaq 抵天(twthvy);  koq yn ti hiaf 看見 Alap- ee 人。 '
  28 Where can we go? Our brothers have made us lose heart. They say, The people are stronger and taller than we are; the cities are large, with walls up to the sky. We even saw the Anakites there.' "
 申 1: 29 "我 就 對 恁 講:'Mxthafng lurn,也 mxthafng yn
  29 Then I said to you, "Do not be terrified; do not be afraid of them.
 申 1: 30 "'Ti 恁 e面 teq ee 上帝, 的確 boeq 替 恁 交戰,親像 Y ti Aikip kab 曠野,為著恁 來 行 ti 恁 目睭前ee 一樣。
  30 The LORD your God, who is going before you, will fight for you, as he did for you in Egypt, before your very eyes,
 申 1: 31 "' ti 曠野 所行+ ee 路上,也 bad 看見 上帝 撫養(chvia'iorng=chviaviuo)kvafnar teq 撫養 子兒 一款直到 恁 來 kaux cit'ee 所在。 '
  31 and in the desert. There you saw how the LORD your God carried you, as a father carries his son, all the way you went until you reached this place."
 申 1: 32 " ti cit'ee ee 頂面 卻 m-相信上帝 。
  32 In spite of this, you did not trust in the LORD your God,
 申 1: 33 "Y ti 路上 ti ee 頭前 行為 恁 zhoe 安營 ee 所在+ ti 火柱++ ti 雲柱+裡,指示 恁 所 tiohee 路。
  33 who went ahead of you on your journey, in fire by night and in a cloud by day, to search out places for you to camp and to show you the way you should go.
 申 1: 34 " 聽見 恁 ciah'ee 話,就 受氣, 立誓(libsex) 講:
  34 When the LORD heard what you said, he was angry and solemnly swore:
 申 1: 35 "'Cit'ee phvae-世代 ee 人,決斷 無 一個 thafng 看著 Goar 誓言 boeq 賞ho 恁 列祖 ee 好地;
  35 "Not a man of this evil generation shall see the good land I swore to give your forefathers,
 申 1: 36 "'只有Iahunii ee kviar Kalek boeq 得著 看見; koq Goar boeq 將 伊 所踏+ ee 地 賞賜 ho 伊 kab ee 子孫因為 伊 專心 跟隨(kuntoex) Goar'
  36 except Caleb son of Jephunneh. He will see it, and I will give him and his descendants the land he set his feet on, because he followed the LORD wholeheartedly."
 申 1: 37 "上帝 為 恁 ee 緣故 也 對 我 發出 受氣, 講: '你 的確 boexthafng 進入 hit'ee 地。
  37 Because of you the LORD became angry with me also and said, "You shall not enter it, either.
 申 1: 38 "'跟隨 你 hit'eeLuxn ee kviar Ioksu'af,伊 boeq 進入 hit'ee 地;你 tioh 勉勵 伊,因為 伊 boeq ho Ysekliet-人 承受 hit'ee 地 做業。
  38 But your assistant, Joshua son of Nun, will enter it. Encourage him, because he will lead Israel to inherit it.
 申 1: 39 "'Koq ee 婦人-laang kab gyn'ar,就是 恁 所 講、oe 受 掠+ee, kab 今仔日 iao boexhiao 好歹(hofphvae) ee 兒女, 的確 oe hit'ee 地。 Goar boeq hit'ee 地 賞賜 ho yn, yn 的確 oexthafng 得來 做業。'
  39 And the little ones that you said would be taken captive, your children who do not yet know good from bad ─ they will enter the land. I will give it to them and they will take possession of it.
 申 1: 40 "論到(luxnkaux )恁 ,tioh oat-tortngr,tuy 紅海 ee 路 向 曠野 去。
  40 But as for you, turn around and set out toward the desert along the route to the Red Sea.

 申 1: 41 "Hit'時,恁 回答我 講: '阮 有 得罪 上帝 ,情願 照 上帝 所命令+ee 上去 交戰。' Zu afnny 恁 各人 帶著 兵器,爭先 上去 山地。
  41 'Then you replied, "We have sinned against the LORD. We will go up and fight, as the LORD our God commanded us." So every one of you put on his weapons, thinking it easy to go up into the hill country.
 申 1: 42 " 上帝 對 我 講: '你 tioh ka yn : 〝Mxthafng +去,也 mxthafng 交戰; 因為 Goar ti ee 中間, 恐驚 恁 oe 殺輸(thaisw)'
  42 But the LORD said to me, "Tell them, 'Do not go up and fight, because I will not be with you. You will be defeated by your enemies.' "
 申 1: 43 "我 就 ka 恁 講, 恁 卻 m-聽,而 竟然 違背 上帝 ee 命令,自專 上 山地 去。
  43 So I told you, but you would not listen. You rebelled against the LORD'S command and in your arrogance you marched up into the hill country.
 申 1: 44 " hit'ee 山地 ee Amoli-人 就 出來 攻擊 恁kvafnar(phafng) 追趕 (tuikvoar) 恁 一樣, ti Senie 殺贏(thaiviaa) 恁 ,直到 Honymar
  44 The Amorites who lived in those hills came out against you; they chased you like a swarm of bees and beat you down from Seir all the way to Hormah.
 申 1: 45 "恁 就 tngr+來, ti 上帝 ee 面前 啼哭;  上帝 m-聽 恁 ee 聲音,也 boboeq 向 恁 俯(vax) 耳孔。
  45 You came back and wept before the LORD, but he paid no attention to your weeping and turned a deaf ear to you.
 申 1: 46 "Zu afnny,恁 ti Katesw zoexzoe 日。 "
  45 And so you stayed in Kadesh many days ─ all the time you spent there.

                 <台英對照> 申   命   記   第 2 章
第 二 章  北上 kab 交戰 

 申 2: 1 "Zef 了後,咱 oat-tortngr tuy 紅海 ee 路 去 曠野; zef 是 照 上帝 所吩咐(hoanhux)+ee  soeh Senie-山 很多(cviazoe) 日子。 
  1  Then we turned back and set out toward the desert along the route to the Red Sea. as the LORD had directed me. For a long time we made our way around the hill country of Seir.
 申 2: 2 "上帝 對我 講:
  2 Then the LORD said to me,
 申 2: 3 "' soeh cit'ee ee 日子 夠額 laqtioh oat 向 北勢(paksix) 去。
  3 "You have made your way around this hill country long enough: now turn north.
 申 2: 4  "' tioh 命令 百姓 講Ysox ee 子孫(kviafswn),恁 ee 兄弟 住(toax) ti Senie,恁 boeq 經過 yn ee 境界。 Yn (cviaa)+恁,所以 恁 tioh 不止 (putcie) 謹慎。
  4 Give the people these orders: 'You are about to pass through the territory of your brothers the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. They will be afraid of you. but be very careful.
 申 2: 5 "'Mxthafng kab yn 爭戰(zengciexn); yn ee 地,連 一腳跡位(khajiaq-ui)Goar (tof) lorng ho 恁,因為 Goar 已經 將 Senie-山 賞賜 ho Ysox做業 (zorgiap)
  5 Do not provoke them to war, for I will not give you any of their land, not even enough to put your foot on. I have given Esau the hill country of Seir as his own.  
 申 2: 6  "' tioh eng ka yn 買 糧 來 吃,也 tioh eng ka yn 買 水 來 飲。'
  6 You are to pay them in silver for the food you eat and the water you drink.' "
 申 2: 7  "因為 上帝ti ee 手內 所辦 ee 一切 ee 事頂已經 有 賜福 ho 。  你 行 cit'ee 大曠野, Y lorng zaiviar。 Cit'四十年, 上帝 時常 kab ti+teq, 你 一項 也 無 欠缺(khiarmkhoeq)。 
  7 The LORD your God has blessed you in all the work of your hands. He has watched over your journey through this vast desert. These forty years the LORD your God has been with you, and you have not lacked anything.  
 申 2: 8  "Zu afnny咱 離開 咱 ee 兄弟Ysox ee 子孫 所住 ee Senietuy Alaqpaf ee 路,經過 YlaqthafYsuun-Kapiet,轉 向 Mo'ab 曠野 ee 路 去。
  8 So we went on past our brothers the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir. We turned from the Arabah road, which comes up from Elath and Ezion Geber, and traveled along the desert road of Moab.
 申 2: 9 "上帝 吩咐 我 講:  'Mxthafng 攪擾(kiawjiao) Mo'ab人,也 mxthafng kab yn 爭戰。 Yn ee 地,Goar 無 賜 ho 你 做業,因為 Goar 已經 將 Anieho Loteg ee 子孫 做業。
  9 Then the LORD said to me, "Do not harass the Moabites or provoke them to war, for I will not give you any part of their land. I have given Ar to the descendants of Lot as a possession."
 申 2: 10 "'(先前Ybie-人 居住 ti hiaf百姓 zoe身體 高大(koantoa)親像Alap-人 一樣。
  10  (The Emites used to live there ─ a people strong and numerous, and as tall as the Anakites.
 申 2: 11 "'Ciah'ee Ybie-人 親像 Alap- 也 算做 是 Lixhoadym-; Mo'ab-人 稱呼 yn Ybie-人。
  11  Like the Anakites, they too were con- sidered Rephaites, but the Moabites called them Emites.
 申 2: 12 "'早前,Holi-人 也 居住 ti Senie,總是 Ysox ee子孫 ka yn 勦滅(zaubiet) 來 續接(soarciab) yn,取得(zhwtid) yn ee 地,就 來 居住,親像 Ysekliet-ti 上帝 賜 ho yn 做業 ee 地 所行+ee 一樣。)
  12  Horites used to live in Seir, but the descendants of Esau drove them out. They destroyed the Horites from before them and settled in their place, just as Israel did in the land the LORD gave them as their possession.)
 申 2: 13 "'Tvaf,起來 過 Satliet-溪!' Zu afnny 咱 過 Satliet-溪。
  13  And the LORD said, "Now get up and cross the Zered Valley." So we crossed the valley.
 申 2: 14 "自從 離開 Katesw-Pani'afkaux 咱 過 Satliet- ee 時陣,攏總 有 三十八年,等 kaux hit'世代 ee 兵丁 lorng 死滅 ti 軍營中,照 上帝 向 yn 立誓 所講+ee。
  14  Thirty-eight years passed from the time we left Kadesh Barnea until we crossed the Zered Valley. By then, that entire generation of fighting men had perished from the camp, as the LORD had sworn to them.
 申 2: 15 "上帝 ee 手 也 攻擊 yn,將 yn tuy 營中 除滅,直到 滅盡。
  15  The LORD's hand was against them until he had completely eliminated them from the camp.

 申 2: 16 "兵丁 tuy 民中 lorng 滅盡 死亡 以後,
  16  Now when the last of these fighting men among the people had died,
 申 2: 17 "上帝 吩咐 我 講:
  17  the LORD said to me,
 申 2: 18 "'你 今仔日 tioh tuy Mo'ab ee 境界 Anie 經過,
  18  "Today you are to pass by the region of Moab at Ar.
 申 2: 19 "'行近Abuun- ee 地,mxthafng 攪擾 yn,也 mxthafng kab yn 交戰。 Abuun- ee 地,Goar 無 賜 ho 恁 做業,因為 Goar 已經 將 hit'ee 地 賜 ho Loteg ee 子孫 做業。'
  19  When you come to the Ammonites, do not harass them or provoke them to war, for I will not give you possession of any land belonging to the Ammonites. I have given it as a possession to the descendants of Lot."
 申 2: 20 "(Hit'ee 地 也 算做(sngrzox) Lixhoadym- ee 地,早前 Lixhoadym-人 居住 ti hiaf,Abuun-人 叫 yn Sarnsorngbeeng
  20 (That too was considered a land of the Rephaites. who used to live there: but the Ammonites called them Zamzummites.
 申 2: 21 "Hiah'ee 百姓 zoe,身體 高大, 親像 Alap-人 一樣; 總是上帝 tuy Abuun-ee 面前 除滅 ynAbuun-人 就 取得 yn ee 地,續接 居住。
  21 They were a people strong and numerous, and as tall as the Anakites. The LORD destroyed them from before the Ammonites, who drove them out and settled in their place.
 申 2: 22 "親像 上帝早前 為 居住 ti Senie ee Ysox ee 子孫,將Holi-tuy yn 面前 除滅,ho yn 取得 Holi- ee 地、來 居住 kaux 今仔日 一樣。
  22 The LORD had done the same for the descendants of Esau, who lived in Seir, when he destroyed the Horites from before them. They drove them out and have lived in their place to this day.
 申 2: 23 "Tuy Kahuythog + ee Kahuythog-也 將 早前 居住 ti 鄉村,
  後來遷移(chiensoar) kaux Kasad ee A'oe-人 除滅,來 居住 ti yn ee 所在。)
  23 And as for the Awites who lived in villages as far as Gaza, the Caphtorites coming out from Caphtor" destroyed them and settled in their place.)
                 --------- 段 落 -----------(Defecit of Sihon King of Heshbon )
 申 2: 24 "'Tvaf tioh +來,起身 過Aluxn ee 山谷; Goar 已經 將Amoli-Hisidpurn-Sehoong kab ee 地,交 ti ee 手中,你 tioh kab 伊 交戰, 取得 伊 ee 地 做業。
  24 Set out now and cross the Amon Gorge. See, I have given into your hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon. and his country. Begin to take possession of it and engage him in battle.
 申 2: 25 "'Tuy 今仔日起,Goar boeq ho 天下 萬民 聽見 你 ee 名就 lorng 大驚, koq 因為 你 ee 緣故 來 致到(tiekaux)gviauqgviauq'zhoaq
  25 This very day I will begin to put the terror and fear of you on all the nations under heaven. They will hear reports of you and will tremble and be in anguish because of you."

 申 2: 26 " tuy Kitybok ee 曠野,差遣(zhekhiern) 使者 去 見Hisidpurn-Sehoong, 用 和睦 ee 口氣(khawkhix)講:
  26 From the desert of Kedemoth I sent messengers to Sihon king of Heshbon offering peace and saying,
 申 2: 27 "'求 你 容允 我 tuy ee 地 經過;  我 kantvaf boeq 行 大路,無偏(bophiefn) 左右(zofiu)
  27 "Let us pass through your country. We will stay on the main road: we will not turn aside to the right or to the left.
 申 2: 28 "'請 你賣 糧食 ho 我 吃,也 賣 水 ho 我 飲,獨獨 請你容允 我 行路(kvialo)+去;
  28 Sell us food to eat and water to drink for their price in silver. Only let us pass through on foot─
 申 2: 29 "'親像 住 ti Senie ee Ysox ee 子孫 kab ti Anie ee Mo'ab-人 款待 我 一樣,等 我 過Ioktaxn-河,進入 上帝 賞賜 阮 ee 地。'
  29 "as the descendants of Esau, who live in Seir, and the Moabites. who live in Ar. did for us ─ until we cross the Jordan into the land the LORD our God is giving us."
 申 2: 30 "總是 Hisidpurn-Sehoong無 容允 tuy -hiaf 經過;因為 上帝 ho ee 心 硬,性情 固執; zef 為著 boeq 將 伊 交 ti ee 手中, 親像 今仔日 一樣。
  30 But Sihon king of Heshbon refused to let us pass through. For the LORD your God had made his spirit stubborn and his heart obstinate in order to give him into your hands, as he has now done.
 申 2: 31 "上帝 對 我 講:'Tuy citmar-起,Goar boeq Sehoong kab ee 地 交 ho 你; 你 boeq 得著 伊 ee 地 做業。 '
  31 The LORD said to me, "See, I have begun to deliver Sihon and his country over to you. Now begin to conquer and possess his land."
 申 2: 32 "Hit'時,Sehoong kab ee 眾百姓 出來 攻擊 咱,ti Gvafzap kab 咱 交戰。
  32 When Sihon and all his army came out to meet us in battle at Jahaz.
 申 2: 33 "上帝 將 伊 交 ho 咱 就 打死 kab ee kviar以及 伊 ee 眾百姓。
  33 the LORD our God delivered him over to us and we struck him down, together with his sons and his whole army.
 申 2: 34 "咱 奪取 伊 ee 堅固 ee 城,將 有人 居住 ee 城,連 婦人-laangkab gyn'ar lorng 勦滅,無留 一個。
  34 At that time we took all his towns and completely destroyed them ─ men, women and children. We left no survivors.
 申 2: 35 "只有 牲生 kab 所奪 ee 各個(tag'ee)ee 財物,orng 搶來(chviwlaai) 做 家己 ee 路用(loxeng)
  35 But the livestock and the plunder from the towns we had captured we carried off for ourselves.
 申 2: 36 "Tuy Aluxn-谷邊 ee Alonie kab 谷中 ee 城,直到 Kiliet,上帝 lorngho 咱,而 無 一座城 堅固-gaq ho 咱 攻-boextor。
  36 From Aroer on the rim of the Amon Gorge, and from the town in the gorge, even as far as Gilead, not one town was too strong for us. The LORD our God gave us all of them.
 申 2: 37 "只有 Abuun- ee Gvafphog-河邊 ee 地,kab 山地 ciah'ee kab 上帝 所禁止 咱 去 ee 所在 lorng 無 倚近(oafkin)"
  37 But in accordance with the command of the LORD our God, you did not encroach on any of the land of the Ammonites, neither the land along the course of the Jabbok nor that around the towns in the hills.

第 三 章  進軍 ee 命令
 申 3: 1 "以後,就 oadtngfsyn,上Pasafn ee 路。 Pasafn-Gok kabee 眾百姓 lorng +來,ti Yteklaai kab 咱 交戰。
  1 Next we turned and went up along the road toward Bashan. and Og king of Bashan with his whole army marched out to meet us in battle at Edrei.
 申 3: 2 "上帝 對我 講: 'Mxbiern 驚(kviaf)+伊! 因為 Goar 已經 將 伊 kabee 眾百姓,以及 伊 ee 地,lorng ti ee 手內;  你 tioh 對待 伊 親像 從前(ciongcieen) 對待 住 ti Hisidpurn ee Amoli-Sehoong一樣。'
  2 The LORD said to me, "Do not be afraid of him, for I have handed him over to you with his whole army and his land. Do to him what you did to Sihon king of the Amorites. who reigned in Heshbon.
 申 3: 3 "Zu afnny,上帝 也 將Pasafn-Gok kab ee 眾百姓 lorng ti ee 手內; 咱就 打死(phahsie) yn,一個 也 無剩(bozhwn)
  3 'So the LORD our God also gave into our hands Og king of Bashan and all his army. We struck them down. leaving no survivors.
 申 3: 4 "Hit'時, 咱 搶奪(chviwtoat) 伊 所有 ee 城, 攏總(lofngzorng) 有 六十座,無 一座城 無 ho 咱 所奪。 Hiaf Anykopeg ee 全境,就是 Pasafn-Gok- ee 國。
  4 At that time we took all his cities. There was not one of the sixty cities that we did not take from them ─ the whole region ofArgob, Og's kingdom in Bashan.
 申 3: 5 "Ciah'eelorng 有 堅固 ee 高牆(koanchviuu),有 門 有 閂(sngf)。 Ciah'ee 以外 iao 有 很多(cviazoe) 無 城牆(sviachviuu)ee 鄉村。
  5 All these cities were fortified with high walls and with gates and bars, and there were also a great many unwalled villages.
 申 3: 6 "咱 將 ciah'ee lorng ka yn 毀滅(huybiet),親像從前 對待 Hisidpurn-Sehoong一樣,毀滅所有 有人 居住(khiaxkhie)ee 陛A連 婦人-laang kab gyn'ar
  6 We completely destroyed them, as we had done with Sihon king of Heshbon. destroying* every city ─ men, women and children.
 申 3: 7 "獨獨 一切 ee 牲生(zengsvy) kabee 財物 lorng 搶 來 做 家己 ee 路用(loxeng)。
  7 But all the livestock and the plunder from their cities we carried off for ourselves.
 申 3: 8 "Hit'時,咱 tuy Ioktaxn-河東 ee 兩個 Amoli- ee 手內, 搶奪 Aluxn-山谷 kaux Hekbuun-ee 地。
  8 So at that time we took from these two kings of the Amorites the territory east of the Jordan, from the Arnon Gorge as far as Mount Hermon.
 申 3: 9 "(Cit'ee Hekbuun-山,Setuxn- ka 伊 叫做 Selieen;  Amoli-ka 伊 叫做 Sixninie。)
  9 (Hermon is called Sirion by the Sidonians; the Amorites call it Senir.)
 申 3: 10 "咱 就是 搶奪 平原 ee 各個 城、Kiliet 全地、Pasafn 全地,直到 Satkaf kab Yteklaailorng Pasafn-Gok國內 ee 城。
  10 We took all the towns on the plateau, and all Gilead, and all Bashan as far as Salecah and Edrei, towns of Og's kingdom in Bashan.
 申 3: 11 "( Lixhoad'ym-人 所剩 ee 只有 Pasafn-Gok  ee 棺木( kvoazhaa)[原文 是 "床"] 是 鐵+ee,長 九肘,寬 四肘,lorng eng ee 手骨(肘) 做辦(zorpan)。  現今 kiarm mxsi iao 保存 ti Abuun- ee Laqpaf maq?)
  11 (Only Og king of Bashan was left of the remnant of the Rephaites. His bed was made of iron and was more than thirteen feet long and six feet wide. It is still in Rabbah of the Ammonites.)
 申 3: 12 "Hit'時, 取得 cit'ee 地。 Tuy Aluxn-谷邊 ee Alonie 起,我 將 Kiliet-山地 ee 一半,以及 其中 ee 城,lorng ho Liupien-kab Kateg-人。
  12 Ofthe land that we took over at that time, I gave the Reubenites and the Gadites the territory north ofAroer by the Arnon Gorge, including half the hill country of Gilead, together with its towns.
 申 3: 13 "其餘(ki'uu) ee Kiliet- kab Pasafn-全地,就是Gok- ee 國,我 ho Mafnafsef ee 半支派。  Anykopeg-全地 就是 Pasafn-全地; zef 叫做Lixhoad'ym- ee 地。
  13 The rest of Gilead and also all ofBashan, the kingdom of Og, I gave to the half tribe of Manasseh. (The whole region of Argob in Bashan used to be known as a land of the Rephaites.
 申 3: 14 "Mafnafsef ee 子孫(kviafswn)Gainie佔據(ciarmkux)Anykopeg-全境,直到Kisut- kab Mafkaf- ee 交界,就 照 家己 ee 名 稱呼 cit'ee Pasafn-地 做 Hap'uytek-Gainie,直到 今仔日。
  14 Jair. a descendant of Manasseh, took the whole region of Argob as far as the border of the Geshurites and the Maacathites: it was named after him, so that to this day Bashan is called Hawoth Jair)
 申 3: 15 " koq Kiliet ho Mafkied
  15 And I gave Gilead to Makir.
 申 3: 16 "Tuy Kiliet kaux Aluxn-山谷,eng 山谷 做 境界,直到 Abuun-人交界 ee Gvafphog-河,我 ho Liupien- kab Kateg-人;
  16 But to the Reubenites and the Gadites I gave the territory extending from Gilead down to the Arnon Gorge (the middle of the gorge being the border) and out to the Jabbok River. which is the border of the Ammonites. '
 申 3: 17 "koqAlaqpaf kab 靠近 Ioktaxn- ee 地, tuy Kiniliet kaux Alaqpaf-海,就是 鹽海,以及 Pysukaf-山腳 東旁(tangpeeng) ee 地, lorng ho yn
  17 Its western border was the Jordan in the Arabah, from Kinnereth to the Sea of the Arabah (the Salt Sea), below the slopes of Pisgah.

 申 3: 18 "Hit'時,我 命令 恁 講: '上帝 已經 將 cit'ee 地 賞賜(sviwsux) ho 恁 做業;  所有 eelorng tioh 帶著 兵器,做 恁 ee 兄弟Ysekliet-ee 頭前 過+去。
  18 l commanded you at that time: "The LORD your God has given you this land to take possession of it. But all your able-bodied men, armed for battle, must cross over ahead of your brother Israelites.
 申 3: 19 "'總是恁 ee borgyn'ar、牲生( 我 zaiviar 恁 有 很多 ee 牲生 ) thafng 住(toax) ti 我 所賜 ho ee 各個(tag'ee) +裡。
  19 However, your wives, your children and your livestock (I know you have much livestock) may stay in the towns I have given you,
 申 3: 20 "'等到(tafnkaux)ee 兄弟 ti Ioktaxn- hit'旁,也 得著上帝 所賜 ho yn ee 地,koq ho yn thafng 享受 平安,kab 恁 一樣,hit'時 恁 ciaq thafng tngflaai kaux 我 所賜 ho 恁 做業 ee地。' 
  20 until the LORD gives rest to your brothers as he has to you, and they too have taken over the land that the LORD your God is giving them, across the Jordan. After that, each of you may go back to the possession I have given you."
 申 3: 21 "Hit'時 我 命令 Ioksu'af 講: '你 有 親目睭 看見上帝 對 cit'兩個 王 所行 ee 事; 上帝 也 的確oe 對 你 所 boeq ee 各國 照樣 來 行。
  21  At that time I commanded Joshua: "You have seen with your own eyes all that the LORD your God has done to these two kings. The LORD will do the same to all the kingdoms over there where you are going.
 申 3: 22 " ' mxbiern +yn,因為 hit' 為 你 交戰+ee 是你 ee 上帝。 '
  22 Do not be afraid of them; the LORD your God himself will fight for you."

  23 At that time I pleaded with the LORD:
 申 3: 24 " '+aq ! Lie 已經 將 Lie ee 大威嚴 kab 大氣力 顯出 ho 僕人 看。  Ti 天頂, ti +裡,有甚麼 神明oe 親像 Lie afnny 行、 親像 Lie 有 大權能 ee 作為 leq﹖
  24 "O Sovereign LORD, you have begun to show to your servant your greatness and your strong hand. For what god is there in heaven or on earth who can do the deeds and mighty works you do?
 申 3: 25 " ' Lie 容允 我 過+去; 去看Ioktaxn- hit' ee 美(suie)ee 地,就是 hit'ee ee 山地 kab Lixpaluxn'
  25 "Let me go over and see the good land beyond the Jordan ─ that fine hill country and Lebanon."
 申 3: 26 "總是 上帝,因為 恁 ee 緣故 來 受氣 我,m-應允 我,對 我 講: 'Afnny 你 夠額(kaogiah) laq!  mxbiern 復再(kohzaix) Goar 提起 cit'件 事。
  26 But because of you the LORD was angry with me and would not listen to me. "That is enough," the LORD said. "Do not speak to me anymore about this matter.
 申 3: 27 " ' tioh 上去 Pysukaf-山頂,向 東、西、南、北 舉目(giaqbak) 來 看, 因為 你 的確 boextaxng cit' Ioktaxn-河。
  27 Go up to the top of Pisgah and look west and north and south and east. Look at the land with your own eyes, since you are not going to cross this Jordan.
 申 3: 28 " '總是 你 tioh 授權 Ioksu'af,勉勵 伊,ho 伊 好膽; 因為 伊 tioh cit'ee 百姓 ee 頭前zhoa yn 過河+ho yn 承接 你 所 boeq +ee 地。'
  28 But commission Joshua, and encourage and strengthen him, for he will lead this people across and will cause them to inherit the land that you will see."

  29 So we stayed in the valley near Beth Peor.
